At the top of the Lexus SUV line, the LX was all-new for 2022. So it didn’t need much of an update for the 2023 model year. Prices are increasing slightly, and Lexus has made a few minor tweaks to trim and color options.
The base model adds a heated steering wheel to its standard equipment list, and rear-seat entertainment screens now come with covers.
The Ultra Luxury trim now gets traditionally engraved Takanoha wood trim and the option of a gorgeous orange-hued leather upholstery Lexus calls Sunflare. And the F-Sport Handling trim is now available with the muted shade Lexus calls Nori Green Pearl — quickly becoming a signature color.
Otherwise, the 2023 LX is the 2022 LX, complete with 409-horsepower twin-turbo V6 and standard 4-wheel drive. Since Toyota removed the Land Cruiser from the U.S. market for 2023, it remains the only way to get the brand’s hyper-capable full-size off-road platform in the U.S.
